The two sides of an RMB exchange
An RMB exchange in Ghana has two halves. On your side, you settle a payment in Ghana Cedis. On the other side, the equivalent value arrives as RMB in an account in China. The exchange rate is the bridge between those two halves.
Most of the difficulty people experience with RMB exchange is not in the conversion itself but in the second half — making sure the RMB reaches an account the recipient can actually use. That is the part worth understanding before you start.
Why ELITE RMB uses two rates
ELITE RMB applies two automatic tiers based on the RMB amount involved in a transaction. One tier covers lower RMB amounts and the other covers larger ones. The tier boundaries and both rates are published on the RMB exchange rate page, so there is nothing hidden about which one you get.
The important thing to understand is that you do not choose your tier. It is selected automatically from the RMB amount, which means you cannot accidentally end up on the wrong one, and no one can offer you a "better tier" outside the system.
What happens to your money, step by step
You start a transaction and enter the RMB amount your recipient needs. The system shows you the applicable rate and the Ghana Cedis you will pay. You add the recipient details, choose how you will fund your side, and submit.
You then pay the Ghana Cedis amount using your transaction reference. Once that payment is verified, ELITE RMB processes the RMB delivery to the account specified. Each stage is visible in your dashboard, and the transaction carries a reference you can quote if you need to ask anything.
Why the rate can move between quoting and paying
Rates are set by ELITE RMB administration and reviewed over time. That is why the rate card on this site always carries a last-updated time, and why the rate shown inside your transaction — locked for the period stated there — is the figure that actually applies to your payment.
If you are planning an order weeks ahead, treat any rate you see today as indicative rather than as a promise about the rate you will get later.
