An RMB payment is a payment made in RMB (Chinese Yuan / CNY), the currency of mainland China. Through ELITE RMB, a customer in Ghana can pay in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and have the equivalent value delivered as an RMB payment — for example to a Chinese supplier, or into an Alipay or WeChat Pay account.
Ghanaians and businesses in Ghana who need to pay for goods or services in China. This includes importers buying stock from Chinese suppliers, traders who pay through 1688, Taobao, Pinduoduo or Xianyu, and students or families sending money to China.
Create an account, start a new transaction, enter the amount you want to convert, choose your payment method, add your recipient details (including their Chinese bank, Alipay or WeChat Pay details and QR code where required), and submit. You will receive a transaction reference, then complete payment in Ghana Cedis by Mobile Money or bank transfer.
Your transaction reference, your recipient name, the recipient account type (for example Chinese bank, Alipay or WeChat Pay), the recipient account details and — where applicable — the recipient QR code. Accurate detail is what lets ELITE RMB confirm exactly where your funds are going.
